About
The QUASAR-STRX is a next-generation TMTC transceiver for SmallSats and CubeSats based on industry standard SDR components with extensive flight heritage. Forms the core of an end-to-end S-band TMTC solution with the QUASAR-WSANT antenna and diplexer. Transmits QPSK/OQPSK at up to 5 Msymbols/s with RS+CC channel coding in 2.200-2.290 GHz. Receives BPSK from 64 kSps to 2 MSps with BCH channel coding in 2.025-2.110 GHz. Compatible with standard satellite ground station TMTC modems and Bright Ascension Flight Software. CAN/SPI/I2C interfaces. Separable SDR and RF Front End modules.
