About
The Q7S is an on-board computer from AAC SpaceQuest based on the Xilinx Zynq-7000 SoC, combining dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processors with programmable FPGA logic. It is designed for demanding satellite computing tasks including payload data processing, attitude control algorithms, and complex mission management. The Q7S provides high-speed SpaceWire interfaces, multiple UART and I2C channels, and large RAM and Flash storage. Radiation-hardened design techniques are used with EDAC memory protection, suitable for LEO and MEO missions.
