About
The STARBUCK-NANO is a CubeSat Power Control and Distribution Unit designed for 2U and 3U CubeSats with body-mounted solar panels. The STARBUCK-NANO PLUS supports high-power CubeSats from 3U with deployable panels up to 12U missions. Features include 8.2V max power voltage, regulated 3.3V, 5V, and 12V power buses, 10 Latching Current Limiters, Maximum Power Point Tracking for efficient solar array power generation, analog components with multiple inbuilt protection methods, and full EPS telemetry via I2C network. Compatible with AAC Clyde Space PHOTON solar panels and OPTIMUS battery ranges, meeting ISS Crewed Flight design requirements. The system provides autonomous protections, watchdogs, and failsafes in both hardware and firmware for mission assurance.
