About XDLINX Space Labs

XDLINX Space Labs is an Indian small satellite technology company founded in 2022 and headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana, focused on commoditising deep space technology through ready-to-launch satellite platforms with hosted payloads, sovereignty-focused Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions, and providing global access to space capabilities. The company's XDSAT platform family spans the XDSAT NS, NL, M200, M400, and M600 configurations, offering scalable micro-satellite solutions for commercial and government customers, supporting EO optical, SAR, SIGINT, IoT and laser payloads with modular avionics, propulsion, power and ground-control systems.

XDLINX demonstrated space heritage with the launch of Janus-1, a 6U small satellite launched in February 2023 that was designed and developed in just 10 months at roughly 75% of the cost of a traditional satellite, positioning the company as part of India's growing commercial new space ecosystem. Since then XDLINX has built a series of strategic partnerships, including with Almagest Space Corporation on space communications, ExLabs on deep space infrastructure, Indonesia's Nodeflux on a sovereign LEO ISR mission, Sisir Radar on India's first private L-band SAR satellite, and Japan's BULL Co., Ltd. on post-mission disposal and space sustainability technology.

The company is led by co-founders Rupesh Gandupalli (CEO) and Karthik Govindhasamy (Executive Chairman), both with backgrounds at Planet Labs, alongside COO Rajasekhar Kallepalli and advisors including Dr. V.S. Hegde, former CMD of Antrix Corporation (ISRO's commercial arm). XDLINX raised a $7 million seed round in October 2024 and, in December 2025, signed an agreement with the GMR Group for a 60,000 sq.ft. satellite R&D and assembly, integration and test facility at GMR Aerospace Park, including a 10,000 sq.ft. cleanroom for nano-to-micro satellite AIT, targeted to be operational in 2027.

In June 2026 XDLINX announced in-orbit qualification of its XDSAT M600 micro-satellite platform together with a multispectral imaging (MSI) optical payload, entirely built in India, supporting missions up to 300 kg and with more than 20 satellite missions planned over the following two years in partnership with Ananth Technologies.
