Description
The CANSAT Transmitter Module is an RF subsystem designed for applications requiring a low-cost, low-power radio link. It is compatible with the AX.25 protocol using Unnumbered Information (UI) packets and can operate at 1200 bps and 9600 bps; data packets can be formatted to conform to the APRS packet structure. Available with SMA connector or wire lead, in a choice of 2m, 70cm, or 916 MHz bands, making it a common choice for CanSat, high-altitude balloon and educational picosatellite projects.
