About Satlab A/S

Satlab A/S is a Danish company headquartered in Aalborg, founded by alumni of Aalborg University's pioneering CubeSat program, which has been building CubeSats since 2003. The company specializes in compact, radiation-tolerant software-defined-radio subsystems and traditional hardware transceivers for telemetry, tracking and command and payload data on nano- and micro-satellites, primarily on S-band and X-band.

Satlab's flagship SRS-3 and SRS-4 S-band transceivers and Polaris SDR receiver family (AIS, ADS-B, LoRa) have flight heritage dating back to 2013, with over 100 units delivered across numerous missions and a technology readiness level of 9. The company also builds the SRX-8 high-speed X-band downlink transmitter, capable of up to 1.4 Gbit/s, and the VTRX VDES/VDE-SAT maritime transceiver, flying since 2023.

Satlab previously offered a full S-band ground station product, now deprecated, and continues to offer R&D and consultancy services for custom radio and space-systems engineering.
