About SatixFy

SatixFy was founded in 2012 in Israel by Yoel Gat and Yoav Leibovitch (both formerly of Gilat Satellite Networks) to design in-house ASICs, RFICs, and software-defined-radio modems for satellite communications, paired with its own Electronically Steered Multi-Beam Antennas (ESMA) supporting DVB-S2X/RCS2 standards. The company built a broad chipset and terminal product line spanning VSAT, aero in-flight connectivity, connected-car, IoT, and satellite gateway equipment, investing roughly $270 million in R&D and accumulating over 60 patents.

SatixFy went public via SPAC merger with Endurance Acquisition Corp in 2022 (NYSE American: SATX), maintaining offices in Israel, the UK, Bulgaria, and the United States. Following the death of co-founder and CEO Yoel Gat in April 2022, the company underwent several leadership transitions before being acquired outright by MDA Space in a roughly $280 million cash deal completed in July 2025.

This card documents SatixFy's chipset and terminal technology, which now continues under MDA Space's communications-satellites business. Company website content is preserved via historical archive since the original satixfy.com now redirects to MDA Space.
