Description
The Apogeo Space 1U, 3U, and 6U CubeSat platforms are scalable picosatellite buses designed for a wide range of applications including IoT connectivity, Earth observation, and communications. Built to CubeSat specification, they provide a reliable and capable foundation for customer payloads with flexible configuration options that scale from a 1U single-unit to a 6U platform.
The platform accommodates payloads from 0.5 to 5 kg with payload volumes from 0.3 U to 2.5 U and average payload power from 3 to 20 W (peak 20–40 W). Attitude control is available in passive or active (ADCS) configurations, with onboard sensors including Sun sensor, Earth sensor, accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometer, and star tracker options. Primary communication operates over UHF, VHF, or S-band with support for LoRa, FSK, QPSK, and MIL-STD protocols. Onboard data buses include I²C, CAN, and SPI. User data storage reaches up to 128 GB.
The platform integrates natively with Apogeo Space's proprietary Cu-Be deployable antennas and high-efficiency solar panels, providing a vertically integrated stack from structure to payload interface. Apogeo offers full upstream services including payload integration and launch arrangement alongside the hardware.
