The Xiphos Q8 Optical Payload Processor is a high-performance image processing daughterboard designed to work with the Q8 processor card, featuring two Camera Link interfaces (1x Base and 1x Medium). It allows the Q8 to be inserted into existing systems with high-bandwidth video or imagery streams, running high-performance image processing algorithms on the Q8 processor and FPGA. It is ideal for space applications that require high-performance image processing and is often used in a variety of remote sensing and Earth observation applications.
