About
The Intrepid Platform is Tyvak International’s current-generation nanosatellite/CubeSat bus. Its design approach uses the satellite’s exterior panels for most structural, thermal and routing functions, freeing up interior volume for payload accommodation compared to earlier bus architectures. The platform builds on heritage avionics and bus technology developed by the original Tyvak/Cal Poly San Luis Obispo CubeSat team and is available in multiple form factors (3U, 6U, 12U and 16U) to suit Earth observation, technology demonstration, communications and deep-space mission needs. It is offered together with Tyvak International’s GNC, EPS, C&DH and dispenser subsystems, and supported by the company’s Turin, Italy assembly-integration-and-test facility.
