About
The MEGA (Meolut Multi-beam Electronic Antenna) phased array antenna predicts the presence and pointing direction of beams from the array’s feeding complex vector, enabling simultaneous multi-satellite tracking without mechanical re-positioning. It is compatible with Search & Rescue (SAR) systems operating over GNSS constellations including Galileo, GLONASS and GPS, and can receive and process up to 6 signals simultaneously, improving throughput and localization accuracy while providing built-in redundancy. MEGA replaces up to 4 traditional MEOLUT dishes with a single electronically-steered planar array, offering instantaneous beam steering, self-calibration (no re-calibration needed), graceful degradation if individual elements fail, and a reduced operational footprint and maintenance downtime.
