About
Tensor Tech provides AOCS customization services for satellite missions. The AOCS platform is designed for the space environment and interfaces with the customer’s Onboard Computer (OBC) via a defined exchange of telemetry/telecommand (TM/TC) messages. Tensor Tech’s AOCS platform performs real-time attitude estimation and control, coordinating supported sensors and actuators, while mission sequencing and spacecraft housekeeping remain on the OBC.
Supported components: Positioning (GNSS Receiver/Antenna); Sensors (Coarse/Fine Sun Sensor, Earth Sensor, Star Tracker, Magnetometer, IMU); Actuators (Reaction Wheel, CMG, Magnetorquer, Propulsion System). Customization is limited to items in the agreed AOCS architecture, and the platform is compatible with the full Tensor Tech product family as well as customizable with 3rd-party components across all layers.
Main Control Platform architecture: Application layer (customer-specific operating modes/libraries, standard modes for rapid deployment); Protocol layer (device drivers, ICD-compliant mappings); Physical layer (mechanical/electrical interfaces, standard shroud or custom form factor). Customization boundaries: a tailored interface board integrating the standard AOCS-MCB compute core, engineered to the customer’s mechanical/electrical interfaces, including 3rd-party firmware drivers and custom software for operating modes.
