About

The EWC27 is Syrlinks’ flagship X-Band transmitter designed for CubeSats and nanosatellites requiring high-speed downlink capability. Co-developed with CNES, it supports data rates up to 140 Mbps, enabling CubeSat platforms to download large volumes of Earth observation imagery, science data, or telemetry during short ground station passes.

With over 120 flight models deployed and a 100% reliability record in orbit, the EWC27 is one of the most flight-proven X-Band transmitters in the NewSpace market. Its ultra-compact form factor and low power consumption make it suitable for standard CubeSat buses from 3U upward. The design is fully ITAR-free, ensuring availability to international customers without export control restrictions.

The EWC27 supports CCSDS-compliant framing and standard modulation schemes, making it compatible with existing ground station infrastructure globally. It has flown on missions including ESA OPS-SAT and HawkEye 360’s RF monitoring constellation.
