About

Thruster One is a high-performance, water-based propulsion system engineered for larger CubeSats and small satellites. Its key innovation is the use of additive manufacturing to create customizable, conformal fuel tank geometries that fit unused internal volume within the host satellite structure, maximizing propellant load without increasing external dimensions.

The system delivers 5-20 mN of thrust at 172 s specific impulse, for a total impulse of 1200 Ns, consuming less than 20 W of peak power. It runs on water or a water-alcohol propellant mixture, integrates power and control electronics, and is delivered pre-filled and flight-ready. It communicates over RS-422 and TTL UART interfaces.

Thruster One targets 6U-16U CubeSats and microsatellites for precision constellation phasing and deployment, active collision avoidance, orbit raising and maintenance, and debris-mitigation de-orbiting. It is compliant with NASA GSFC-STD-7000A and ESA ECSS-E-ST-10-03C standards and is ITAR-free. Flight heritage includes six systems operating in orbit since 2022, including the 2023 MBRSC PHI-Demo mission, and selection for NaraSpace’s K-RadCube mission on Artemis II.
