About
The SASC is StarSpec Technologies’ sub-arcsecond star camera, an attitude determination component designed for plug-and-play integration into satellites and stratospheric balloon payloads. It achieves less than 1 arcsecond full-loss accuracy at 10 Hz and 0.23 arcsecond differential precision at 60 Hz, making it suitable for missions requiring extremely precise pointing knowledge. The compact unit (1U-3U, 100-400g) operates over a wide temperature range and across terrestrial, high-altitude (<40km), and LEO (<700km) environments.
