CubeLabs provide a standardized platform for automated research, development, and manufacturing in remote environments, translating Earth-based science to space and serving as the basis for data collection and manufacturing in orbit. CubeLabs scale in size depending on scientific objectives, with Space Tango continuing to develop new hardware that scales beyond the base 9U form factor. The platform includes a cold-flask thermal control subsystem that can maintain temperatures as low as 4 degrees C, ideal for science requiring specific temperature control throughout an investigation, and built-in flight computers providing automated control architecture and near-real-time data relay to partners.
