About
The service television system (STS) is designed for installation on board a stationary spacecraft to form digital images of the environment and objects within the field of view of its television cameras, storing the received information in the long-term memory of the data acquisition unit for subsequent transmission over the radio channel to ground receiving stations or relay satellites. The system consists of a set of eight monoblock digital cameras plus a video data recording and processing unit. Guaranteed service life is 5 years, with an estimated production/delivery time of 24 months. The product can be adapted to customer requirements.
