About
NANOcast is a 100 Mbps X-Band satellite transmission communication subsystem with an additional highly efficient integrated amplifier and built-in encryption system, which provides a high level of security between satellite and ground station communication. Several intelligent built-in functions enable the use of the NANOcast as an advanced communication system, making the acquisition of satellite payload data practically autonomous. The security functions of the NANOcast subsystem are based on the CCSDS SDLS protocol and support the symmetric AES-GCM-256 authenticated encryption algorithm with support for encryption keys. Advanced encryption functions are supported in combination with a NANOlink subsystem. Qualified to ISO 19683 and IPC Class 3+, in-house MAIT, TRL 5.
