About
The Sim Dot Space framework exposes its entire control, monitoring, and automation functions through a REST API (also known as REST API / Open API 3.0 / Swagger). This enables simple and seamless integration with external tools and existing assets, letting mission operators, test engineers and third-party software connect directly to running simulations, digital twins, and HIL hybrid labs. The Open API is one of the core interfaces of the Sim Dot Space framework, alongside a C/C++ SDK, a generic aerospace models library, a code generation tool, and 3D visualization, and is complemented by an open Kafka messaging interface for legacy system compatibility.
