Sim Dot Space provides ready-to-use hardware interface drivers for most of the relevant hardware interfaces used in aerospace, such as RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, CAN BUS, I2C, SpaceWire, PWM, SPI, Digital I/O, Analog inputs, Analog outputs, RTD, ARINC-429, ARINC-575, MUX BUS 1553, and more. These drivers let the framework’s Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) dynamic simulations integrate directly with the On-Board Computer (OBC) and other hardware components in real time, enabling validation of embedded flight software critical for the OBC’s Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) module.
