About
The iSIM-90 is the smallest and lightest member of SATLANTIS’s iSIM (integrated Standard Imager for Microsatellites) optical payload family. Designed specifically for 12U and 16U CubeSat platforms, it delivers simultaneous imaging in the Visible and Near-Infrared (VNIR) and Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) spectral ranges, enabling multispectral Earth observation from spacecraft in the few-kilogram class while maintaining a high performance-to-mass ratio.
Based on SATLANTIS’s proprietary and flight-proven iSIM technology, the iSIM-90 addresses the growing demand for precise geo-requirements and spectral information in small satellite missions. The instrument operates on orbit simultaneously across spectral bands, supporting applications including precision agriculture, methane and environmental monitoring, defense and security intelligence, maritime domain awareness, and scientific research.
The iSIM family’s Smart Image Box architecture supports multispectral and panchromatic modes, advanced detectors and processors using COTS radiation-tolerant components for LEO, and customer-configurable parameters to match diverse mission-specific requirements. The payload integrates into agile small satellite buses operated in intelligent mission architectures that generate customer-proprietary data through SATLANTIS’s end-to-end solution offering.
