About
The RCMOS is Raptor Photonics’ space-qualified CMOS camera platform, designed for direct integration into CubeSat optical payloads in low Earth orbit. Built on the latest-generation CMOS technology, it delivers sensitivity approaching that of intensified or EMCCD detectors in a compact, rugged form factor. The global-shutter progressive-scan architecture provides real-time, lag-free imaging across the visible and near-infrared spectrum (0.3–1.1 µm). The RCMOS is offered in mono and colour variants and is designed for easy integration into electro-optic payloads, continuing Raptor’s track record of space heritage cameras flying operationally on LEO CubeSat missions.
