About
The ELARA X-Band Generation One is QSAT’s flagship multibeam ground antenna, engineered to track and communicate with multiple satellites simultaneously from a single ground installation. The system uses a modular, scalable architecture built for manufacturing efficiency and rapid deployment, supporting continuous 24/7 mission operations through a resilient, secure hardware design.
Software-Defined control enables dynamic reconfiguration and automated task scheduling — adapting to changing constellation requirements without hardware changes. The system has been demonstrated simultaneously tracking ELARA 1, the International Space Station, NOAA 19, and VANGUARD 1, showcasing the multibeam capability across a wide range of orbital regimes and spacecraft types.
The dual-use design supports both commercial satellite operations (constellation management, Earth observation data downlink, deep space relay) and defence applications requiring high-assurance, multi-mission ground infrastructure.
