The Oxford Space Systems Yagi antenna unlocks the next generation of AIS and VDES services. The Yagi antenna provides high RF performance for space maritime and vessel tracking applications in VHF band. From an efficient 1U stowed package it deploys in a single step using strain energy. The current product is a 3-element configuration with flight heritage, but we have 2-element versions as part of the development path. The Yagi antenna deployed length is 900 mm.
