About
The SamSat 3U Nanosatellite Platform, released by Glavkosmos in 2016, is a CubeSat-format bus designed for scientific and technological experiments. It provides an onboard computer, electrical power system, transceiver and attitude stabilization system, with available payload volume of approximately 2 dm3. Payload interfaces include CAN, I2C, SPI and UART, with payload supply voltages of 3.3/5/7/14 V and a maximum payload current draw of 2 A; onboard data storage is provided by a 32 GB microSD card. The attitude stabilization system provides an angular rate of up to 0.5 deg/s, and thermal control is passive. The platform has a guaranteed service life of 1 year and an estimated production/delivery time of 12 months; it is not flight-qualified but Glavkosmos can adapt it to customer requirements.
