About

MP42 is NanoAvionics’ microsatellite platform — a high-performance bus for payloads up to a 200 kg-class spacecraft. The MP42 baseline supports a wide range of mission profiles (Earth observation, IoT, communications, technology demonstration) with modular avionics inherited from the M-series CubeSats and scaled up.

NanoAvionics first flew an MP42 host satellite on the SpaceX Transporter-5 rideshare in 2022, deploying multiple hosted payloads in orbit.
