About
SITRO-AIS is a series of small satellites developed by SITRONICS Space for global AIS (Automatic Identification System) maritime traffic monitoring. The platform receives VHF AIS signals from ships worldwide and downlinks the data to ground for use in maritime logistics, security and environmental monitoring. Multiple SITRO-AIS satellites have been launched to LEO and form a key element of the SITRONICS Space constellation.
