About

Creotech Instruments S.A. is a Polish space electronics company founded in 2010 in Piaseczno (near Warsaw), designing and manufacturing satellites, electronics modules, and space hardware. Creotech is the prime contractor for the Polish Ministry of Defence’s PIAST satellite program — a constellation of three 50 kg optical Earth observation satellites (EagleEye) to be launched 2024-2027, providing 1.2-metre resolution imagery for Polish defence and civil use. The EagleEye satellites are built on Creotech’s HyperSat modular satellite bus — a standardized 50 kg-class platform with radiation-hardened avionics, Li-ion battery, and deployable solar panels, scalable from 12U CubeSat to 100 kg class. Creotech also builds CAMILA (Camera for Imaging and Lipid Analysis) biomedical experiment payloads for ESA, and has developed advanced FPGA-based space computer modules used on ESA and commercial satellites. The company is the first Polish firm to independently design, manufacture, and operate a spacecraft. Creotech’s BRITE-PL nanosatellites (2 x 7 kg, launched 2013-2014) were Poland’s first independently developed satellites, measuring stellar brightness oscillations in optical photometry.
