About
StarMax is Gravitics’ flagship space station module, engineered as a large-volume, pressurized habitat structure that can be manufactured, outfitted, tested, and launched as a complete unit rather than requiring extensive on-orbit assembly. Built to fit within the payload fairings of heavy-lift launch vehicles such as SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy and Starship, StarMax modules are designed to maximize interior pressurized volume relative to launch mass and cost, targeting commercial space station operators, government agencies, and in-space manufacturing customers preparing for the post-ISS era of low Earth orbit destinations. The module architecture supports configurable interior layouts for crew habitation, laboratory space, logistics/storage, or in-space manufacturing, with standardized docking and berthing interfaces for expansion into multi-module orbital complexes. Gravitics has developed and tested full-scale StarMax module structures and mockups at its Marysville, Washington production facility, and has engaged with NASA’s Commercial LEO Destinations program as well as international space agencies and commercial station developers as part of its early customer and partnership pipeline.
