About
LEXI-P is Astroscale’s multi-mission servicer designed for the geostationary (GEO) market, where satellite assets represent investments of hundreds of millions of dollars. Developed by Astroscale U.S., the lightweight platform is compatible with the majority of existing GEO satellites without requiring prior modification.
The servicer offers a comprehensive suite of on-orbit services: prolonging payload utilization beyond design life, extending mission capabilities, providing in-orbit inspection, relocating satellites to new orbital slots, and enabling responsible end-of-life disposal. In 2025–2026, the LEXI-P engineering team completed closed-loop 6DoF testing at GMV’s robotics laboratory in Spain, validating the RPO software’s ability to sense, control, and maneuver in all directions — a critical milestone toward flight readiness. Launch-ready target: 2027.
