ASELSAN Satellite Communication Terminal

ASELSAN is Turkey’s largest defense electronics company, with a dedicated Space Division developing satellite communication systems, attitude control electronics, and electro-optical payloads for Turkish space programs. ASELSAN’s satellite communications terminals are used by the Turkish Armed Forces and operate across Ku, Ka, X, and UHF frequency bands for mobile, airborne, and naval satellite connectivity. The company has developed reaction control electronics, sun/star sensors, and imaging payloads for Göktürk-1 and Göktürk-2 Turkish reconnaissance satellites as well as Türksat-5A and 5B GEO communications satellites. ASELSAN also develops ground stations for Turkish satellite control and has a growing domestic satellite technology R&D program aligned with Turkey’s National Space Program 2021–2023. The company exhibited its air satellite communications terminal at Teknofest 2019.
