About
AFS are used to transmit signals in radio communication systems, broadcasting, television, as well as other radio systems using radio waves to transmit signals. The function of an antenna is to emit or receive electromagnetic waves. The electrical connection of the antenna to the source (consumer) can be direct, or can be done using a transmission line equipped with radio frequency connectors, i.e. using a feeder. The function of the feeder is to transmit electromagnetic waves from the radio transmitter to the input of the antenna and transmit electromagnetic waves from the antenna to the radio. The transmitting antenna converts the energy of the waves coming through the feeder from the transmitter to the antenna into the energy of free vibrations propagating in the surrounding space.
