Yuzhnoye Design Bureau (KB Pivdenne)

Yuzhnoye Design Bureau (Ukrainian: КБ "Південне", KB Pivdenne) is a Ukrainian rocket and spacecraft design bureau founded in 1954 and headquartered in Dnipro, Ukraine, with over 70 years of heritage developing launch vehicles, ballistic missiles, and spacecraft. The bureau is responsible for the Zenit-3SL/3SLB, Dnepr, Tsyklon/Cyclone, and Vega (first stage contribution) launch vehicles, and has developed the Sich and Luch satellite programmes. Yuzhnoye operates in collaboration with Yuzhny Machine-Building Plant (Yuzhmash) which manufactures the hardware it designs, together forming one of the world's most experienced rocket development and production complexes, serving Roscosmos, international commercial operators, and the Ukrainian space programme.
