Tiangong Space Lab (Commercial)

This entry represents the China Manned Space Engineering Office (CMSE, publicly branded China Manned Space / CMSA), the state administrative body established in September 1992 that plans, manages and coordinates China's human spaceflight programme. CMSE runs the Tiangong Chinese Space Station and the Shenzhou crewed and Tianzhou cargo missions that service it, coordinating with prime contractors such as CASC/CAST that build the Long March launch vehicles and spacecraft hardware.

Important clarification: CMSE/CMSA is a government programme office, not an independent commercial company. There is no separate, verifiable commercial entity operating under the name "Tiangong Space Lab." The commercial-facing activity that exists is CMSE's coordination of international and payload-hosting opportunities aboard Tiangong — for example the joint CMSA-UNOOSA programme that selects international scientific experiments to fly on the station, and open calls for low-cost commercial cargo transportation (which have since been served by privately developed vehicles such as the Haoloong cargo shuttle on Zhuque-3 and the Qingzhou spacecraft on Lijian-2).
