About ThinkOrbital, Inc.

ThinkOrbital, Inc. is a US space infrastructure company headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, founded to accelerate the accessibility and commercialization of cislunar space through cost-effective, pressurizable, scalable, multi-purpose orbital structures. The company was co-founded by Colonel Lee Rosen (USAF, Ret.), a former SpaceX VP who led the build of three Falcon launch pads and Dragon spacecraft operations, and Vojtech Holub, Ph.D., whose research forms the founding technical thesis for ThinkOrbital's scalable space infrastructure approach.

ThinkOrbital's core offering is the ThinkPlatform family: large, single-launch, autonomously-assembled spherical modules intended to serve as adjuncts to existing space stations or as standalone free-flying platforms, covering use cases from satellite servicing and in-space manufacturing to research, fuel depots, and space tourism. Complementing the platforms is the ThinkToolkit, a robotic-arm-and-end-effector system for in-space construction, including electron-beam welding, which was successfully flight-demonstrated on orbit in 2024's Flight-1 mission, and proximity X-ray inspection of satellite interiors.

The company has since expanded into space domain awareness and defense applications (ThinkX space-based X-ray imaging) and terrestrial spin-off applications (ThinkXT, a drone-mounted autonomous X-ray inspection platform). ThinkOrbital pursues its mission through partnerships with NASA and ESA, SpaceWERX/AFWERX contracts, and venture capital backing, having raised seed funding to advance both its orbital construction systems and X-ray inspection technology.
