Description
The spherical ThinkPlatform-1 provides a large volume, protected from orbital debris and thermal effects, to accommodate in-space servicing, assembly, and manufacturing (ISAM) activities, astronaut habitation, and tourism. It attaches to an existing host space station, allowing ThinkOrbital to focus on its core in-space construction technologies rather than independent life-support infrastructure. Use cases include research and development, hosting payloads and experiments, in-orbit storage, fuel depot service, and cultural/entertainment venues such as a movie studio.
