About Tetonsys

Teton Aerospace (Tetonsys) is a US space technology company headquartered at NASA Research Park, Moffett Field, California, founded in 2013 by Bob Twiggs (co-creator of the CubeSat and PocketQube standards) and Amin Djamshidpour. The company's stated mission is to use rapid advances in additive manufacturing to further space exploration, demonstrating new, more flexible and low-cost rapid-development methodologies for space scientists and spacecraft engineers.

Teton's core hardware line covers small-satellite deployment and structures: the Teton CubeSat Deployer, a next-generation deployer offering designers greater flexibility for solar panel placement without requiring the precise square cross-section and corner-capturing of legacy designs; the Tu-POD, the company's first-generation deployer designed to fit inside a standard P-POD and act as a mother-ship for launching PicoSats and PocketQubes; and the 3D-printed MR-FOD, the standard launcher/deployer used to release PocketQubes from the Italian GAUSS Team's UniSat micro-satellite platform. Teton also manufactures standard PocketQube satellite structures in 1P, 2P, and 3P sizes for launch aboard UniSat via the MR-FOD.

Beyond deployers, Teton Aerospace has built composite 3D-printed structures qualified for space use and researches in-space additive manufacturing, aiming to extend zero-gravity 3D printing (as demonstrated by Made In Space aboard the ISS) toward on-orbit fabrication of satellite and deep-space structures. The company maintains a longstanding partnership with the Italian GAUSS Team for small-satellite launch services and also offers STEM education hardware (CricketSat and Jiggy kits) and engineering consulting, serving universities, research institutions, and commercial customers seeking affordable, rapidly developed small-satellite hardware.
