About TESAT-Spacecom

TESAT-Spacecom (a subsidiary of Airbus Defence and Space) is a German company founded in 2001 in Backnang specializing in laser communication terminals for satellite optical inter-satellite links (OISL). TESAT developed the Laser Communication Terminal (LCT) used on the ESA/EDRS European Data Relay System satellites, provided laser terminals for OneWeb's Phase 1 LEO constellation, and has delivered optical terminals to DLR, JAXA, and NASA programs. TESAT terminals enable multi-gigabit inter-satellite links with minimal mass and power.
