Sustain Space is a UK space sustainability consultancy founded in 2022 and headquartered in Bristol, providing advisory, policy, and engineering services to governments, commercial companies, and innovators working on space debris removal and sustainable orbital operations. The company delivers mission design, technology roadmapping, regulatory guidance, systems engineering, and market development services, with a particular focus on making active debris removal financially viable through market-based mechanisms such as offset credits. Sustain Space has delivered a foundational report on space sustainability to the 9th European Conference on Space Debris and completed two funded studies for the UK Space Agency (UKSA): one on regulatory frameworks for space resource utilization, and another on satellite disposal strategies in cislunar space. The company is led by CEO Matthew Wills and contributes to international policy discussions and technical development on the growing challenge of orbital congestion and long-term sustainability of Earth's orbital environment.
