About SpaceX Rideshare

SpaceX Smallsat Rideshare Program is the dedicated rideshare service offered by Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) on the Falcon 9 launch vehicle. Announced in August 2019, the program offers Transporter missions to a 525 km Sun-synchronous orbit at fixed quarterly cadence and Bandwagon missions to a ~45° mid-inclination LEO orbit. Pricing starts from US$ 6,000/kg (Transporter SSO) with a 50 kg minimum, and US$ 8,500/kg (Bandwagon) — booking is via the online portal at spacex.com/rideshare. As of mid-2025, more than 14 Transporter missions have delivered 1,000+ smallsats to orbit, with payloads launched via standard 15-inch and 24-inch ESPA adapters, or customer-provided deployers.
