About SpaceAble
SpaceAble is a Paris-based New Space startup founded by Julien Cantegreil to address collision and debris risk in low Earth orbit as satellite constellations expand. It positions itself as a Space Situational Awareness (SSA) technology provider, combining ground- and in-space infrastructure with data processing to give LEO operators, insurers and regulators better orbital-risk visibility.
Its two flagship offerings are ISSAN, a data-processing platform using AI, blockchain and cryptography for space-weather monitoring, debris tracking and space-traffic management; and Orbiter, a planned autonomous inspection satellite providing certified in-situ data on client satellites to help extend their operational life.
Partnerships include AXA XL for space-risk data and insurance, a research MoU with the Oukaimeden Astronomical Observatory in Morocco for space surveillance, and the ThingSat CubeSat project with the University of French Polynesia, the French Polar Institute, Air Liquide, Gorgy Timing and Galathea, launched via SpaceX. The company has taken part in CNES Innovation Day, the Assises du NewSpace, and French Tech's DeepNum20 cohort, and was ranked in the Top 20 Space Startups 2021 by StartUs Insights.
