Skyline Celestial

Skyline Celestial is a San Francisco-based satellite manufacturer founded in 2019 by Geffen Avraham, building what it calls the most powerful and affordable personal satellites ever created. The company's mission is to democratise access to space by lowering the barrier to entry for researchers, universities, defence customers, and private pioneers who want their own satellite platforms without the cost or complexity of traditional spacecraft.

Skyline offers two 1U CubeSat platforms. The entry-level Odyssey targets first-time satellite operators with a dual-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor, embedded magnetorquers, UHF communications, and a starting price of $3,600. The higher-end Aquarius steps up to a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, reaction wheel-based three-axis attitude control, dual UHF and 50 Mb/s X-Band communications, and up to 68 Wh of power — all within the 1U form factor at $8,500.

Backed by MaC Venture Capital, Skyline Celestial is a lean, high-output team targeting a broad customer base ranging from STEM education organisations deploying their first satellite to government agencies needing rapid-deployment sensing assets. The company positions the Skyline platform as the go-to solution for accessible, capable, low-cost space access.
