Shanghai Spacecom Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. (SSST), also known as SpaceSail, is a Chinese commercial satellite company headquartered in Shanghai developing and operating the Qianfan ("Thousand Sails") LEO satellite broadband constellation. Qianfan, also called SpaceSail, plans to deploy thousands of LEO satellites to provide broadband internet connectivity across China and globally, competing in the commercial satellite broadband market. SSST leverages China's commercial satellite manufacturing capabilities and launch infrastructure to build a China-headquartered global satellite broadband network serving consumers, businesses, and government users requiring space-based high-speed internet access.
