Satellite Vu

Satellite Vu (SatVu) is a British space technology company founded in 2016 by Anthony Baker and Tobias Reinicke, headquartered in London, UK. The company is building a constellation of seven LEO satellites equipped with mid-wave infrared (MWIR) sensors to monitor Earth's heat signature at 3.5 m spatial resolution — the highest resolution thermal infrared imagery commercially available. SatVu's first satellite, HotSat-1, launched in June 2023 and demonstrated operational capabilities for monitoring industrial heat emissions, building energy efficiency, agriculture, and defense applications. The company has raised over €34 million (as of early 2026) to scale its multi-satellite thermal constellation.
