About SARsatX (CubeSat Arabia)

SARsatX (formerly known as CubeSat Arabia) is a Saudi Arabian space technology company founded in 2019 as a spin-off from KAUST's TAQADAM Accelerator, headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, developing small synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and optical satellites for Earth observation. The company was co-founded by Dr. Ahmed Alzubairi (CEO) and Dr. Muhannad Almutiry (CBO) and is building the ArabiaEye Constellation, a planned network of 16 to 18 SAR and optical small satellites targeting operational capacity by 2027, designed to deliver near-real-time imagery within four hours of tasking. SARsatX has developed the EarthLife AI-driven analytics platform for extracting intelligence from satellite imagery for deforestation monitoring, oil leak detection, disaster response, border security, precision agriculture, and port logistics applications. In February 2026, the company signed a memorandum of agreement with Antaris to jointly develop and deliver its SAR constellation with goals for in-country satellite manufacturing in Saudi Arabia. SARsatX graduated from the Seraphim Space Accelerator and has raised approximately $4.4 million in total funding from investors including TONOMUS (NEOM's technology arm), Wa'ed Ventures (Aramco VC), and Access Bridge Ventures.
