RSat Space

RSat Space Technologies is a Canadian satellite developer headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, providing fast-build satellite platforms and space-based intelligence solutions to defense, government, and commercial customers. Founded and led by CEO Gurvinder Chohan, a former senior director at MDA/Maxar, RSat Space compresses traditional satellite development timelines to between twelve and twenty-four months from contract to flight-ready satellite. The company designs, builds, and qualifies complete spacecraft, payloads, and ground infrastructure, offering fast-build small satellites, GEO and LEO platforms, and AI-enabled payloads. RSat Space also offers Remote Sensing and ISR as a Service for customers requiring reliable space-based intelligence without owning satellites. The company signed a memorandum of understanding with Korean launch provider INNOSPACE in April 2026 to pursue satellite and launch system contracts in the North American market.
