Fault-tolerant first-stage booster cluster of six Centurion engines.
Boost Propulsion Module (6-engine cluster)
Fault-tolerant first-stage booster cluster of six Centurion engines.
Description
The Boost Propulsion Module is a first-stage booster cluster combining six Centurion LOX/methane engines into a single fault-tolerant propulsion module. Clustering multiple reusable Centurion units provides engine-out redundancy and scales total thrust for small launch vehicle and hypersonic booster applications while retaining the low per-engine reuse cost of the underlying Centurion architecture.
