Réaltra Space Systems Engineering

Réaltra was founded in 2017 as a division of Realtime Technologies Ltd., which holds AS9100 Rev D and ISO 13485-2016 quality accreditations. The company's name comes from the Irish word for "Galaxy." Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, Réaltra delivers high-performance electronic units and avionics for leading space companies, combining ruggedized commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) technology with custom, radiation-tolerant avionics for agency missions. The team also licenses its IP to organizations outside the space industry.

Reaktra's technology has flown on Ariane 5 and Ariane 6 launchers; its independent video telemetry system captured the widely-published imagery of the James Webb Space Telescope separating from its launch vehicle. Réaltra's offering spans three areas: institutional missions, custom & COTS electronics, and IP licensing.

The team is described as agile, with industry-expert engineers collaborating with customers across Ireland, Europe, and globally, delivering ruggedized video telemetry kits, batteries, cameras, telemetry links, GNSS receivers, and Ethernet switches for launch vehicle avionics.
