Ramon.Space

Ramon.Space traces its roots to 2004, when the underlying computing technology was developed by Ran Ginosar, Tuvia Liran and Dov Alon. In 2020 the company rebranded as Ramon.Space after entrepreneur Dov Moran, known for founding M-Systems and inventing the USB flash drive, took the technology and turned it into a commercial space-computing product line, becoming the company's chairman. Ramon.Space raised a $17.5M Series A in 2021 led by Dov Moran together with StageOne Ventures and Deep Insight, and maintains offices in Yokneam Illit and Hod HaSharon, Israel, as well as Los Altos, California.

The company builds radiation-tolerant onboard computing hardware for satellites, combining in-house integrated circuits and virtual radiation-hardening technology manufactured on standard high-volume commercial processes, creating a new generation of Space COTS (commercial-off-the-shelf) components. Its systems are built to withstand high radiation levels and extreme temperatures while running AI/ML workloads for real-time in-orbit data processing.

Ramon.Space's product line spans onboard AI/DSP compute (NuPod), high-density radiation-hardened data storage (NuStream), and a software-defined communication processor (NuComm) supporting channelization, 5G NTN and regenerative processing. The Israel Space Agency selected Ramon.Space computing technology for an early-2022 mission, and the company partners with organizations including Foxconn.
