About QubeRider

Cuberider Pty Ltd (also known as Quberider) was an Australian STEM education and space access company founded in early 2015 in Sydney, New South Wales, by Solange Cunin and Sebastian Chaoui. The company developed a platform in which high school students designed software experiments to be conducted on the International Space Station, combining real space access with coding, data analysis, and systems engineering education. Cuberider launched the Cuberider1 payload to the ISS aboard Japan's HTV-6 cargo vehicle in December 2016, making it the first Australian-owned payload carried to the International Space Station. The payload contained approximately 1,000 software experiments designed by students across 60 Australian schools, which executed on the station and returned data to Earth before the payload returned in September 2017. Cuberider partnered with NanoRacks and DreamUp for ISS access, was accepted into Telstra's muru-D startup accelerator, and received approval from all 16 ISS partner nations for its mission. The Cuberider1 physical payload is now preserved in the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences collection in Sydney, Australia.
