Proxima Space

Proxima Space is a Madrid-based space engineering consultancy that supports Space projects across all phases of the system lifecycle. Its engineering and management services include definition of project documentation, project documentation review, support to mission definition, and support in technical reviews.

The company also offers turnkey solutions built around high-reliability, high-performance small satellites, covering standard platforms up to 12U CubeSat as well as ad-hoc platform configurations, together with ground segment support.

The Proxima Space team has a background in ESA, Spanish Ministry of Defence, and INTA programmes, including Pleiades, Helios, MiniSAT, NanoSAT, TriboLAB, Solar Orbiter, ExoMars, BepiColombo, OPTOS, Responsive Space Capabilities, and XATCOBEO. The team is led by Cesar Martinez Fernandez, formerly responsible for the Small Satellites Programme at INTA and Head of the Flight Segment Area and the Systems Engineering, Integration and Validation Area.
